Would you have your deck hatches made flush like the Cigs? I think it looks very trick to have these flush. I am considering it and trying to get an idea of cost to do it.

I don't have any paint in the area where the hatches are, so it might be easier for me to do it than somebody with paint in that area.

It looks alot cleaner, outerlimits and many cat builders do it as well. Never seen the Powerplay with hatches on the sides, usually down the middle. I would go for it, pending cost of course. my .02. Darren

I think the flush hatches look great - I wouldn't know where to begin with installing them though.

THe boat is different....it has naca duct vents on the side also that I think is the only PP made with these.

I think it would look great! I know cigarette's hatches are patented though. Wonder if their hatches are the same size as the bomar ones?

I think it can be "fabricated". Dan MacNamara of Archer Marine is not far from me....I'll have to check with him and see if he can do it and for what price.

I love these boats just as they are, I can't think of a boat I'd rather have...hatch and all :)

I would think that the trickiest part about the recessed hatches would be getting water to drain from them, or sealing the edges tight enough that water wouldn't be able to sit inside the crack so when you opened it you got a shower.

Here is a couple pics. of my Flush mount deck hatch I fabricated on my old 24 Pantera , Also a shot of the
Fiberglass NACA Ducts I made & then glassed in the sides. However I am a bit of a long tow from So Cal.
I love the 33 pp's an would shure like to own one someday.
I also would't mind finding a 28 that needs power, preferably
a single. Anyone know of any ? Ifso please send me a P.M.
Later guys, Scott
