What prop for a 25?
What prop is best for a 25? I just brought home a 92 25 PP. Currently running a 28P Bravo 4 blade. How does it handle with a 3 blade? Also, anyone try an ext. box or a 2" shortie?

They are not stand up bolsters, McCloud sitdowns. They are a little high, I think I'm going to trim the base and drop them down a bit. Very comfortable though. |
Re: What prop for a 25?
VERY nice, congrats on the boat and welcome to the PowerPlay family :D

Re: What prop for a 25?
Nice buy! Sounds like she is running strong.

Re: What prop for a 25?
Congrats, nice looking boat.
I have a single engine 28 that runs a herring 5 blade 32. The 5blade offers great performance at all speeds. The previous owner had tried a imco 2" shorty and every prop under the sun. After hours of trial and error, standard length Bravo with Imco guts. Good luck. |

I just picked up a 1992 25' last week also, I found a project, no power, no drive. I am dropping in a extra 500HP that I bought last year for my 33 PowerPlay and didnt need. I am ripping down the whole boat and shooting the whole thing Tangerine. Ill post a couple, pre rip down pics. Anyone know this boat?
