Indy, I might be able to talk some of the Md Powerplays to head north. Sounds like fun. I've been to Old Saybrook many times. I had relatives that used to live there. One of these days I'm going to have to boat up there.
|
Hi guys! I'm still around here "lurking" every now and then :D
I would (if at all possible) keep the name "Powerplay". No offense, but it sounds 110% better than "Lattitude" boats. It might also help you sell/market the boats........Powerplay is a widely recognized name. |

So you either talked to Billy or Chris (Ocean Performance). I think we going to come up to the Fall run again. It was a great time last year. I'm pretty sure were doing the Seneca Pirates run in June. Are you going to do that?? I know Jromy was thinking about going as well. What are the others from LG that are thinking of coming down to our run??
Went out to dinner with epeek-Rick, his brother Bret (36 Baja) and Kevin (38 yellow Donzi) last Saturday night. I asked them about Mohegan and the Seneca Lake run and they were interested in both. We may not bring all the boats tho. I haven't talked to Bob yet but I'm sure he'd like to bring the Gladiator. I'll ask the rest of the guys when I see them.:drink: |

Yes, come on down to the Mohegan. There is a free lift off service for participants. It's one on the best Poker Runs around. This year it should be twice as big. The same goes for Indy, Jeromy and anyone else. I dont own a Powerplay but sure like them.
What is the route of the Mohegan Sun PR? |

My only problem is that I have a steel trailer. Is there any place to launch that is in fresh water around there. I could always drop it in in Albany and take the Hudson. Takes about 4 hours to get to Manhattan and about $500.00 in fuel one way.
Dan...Saybrook is mostly fresh right? |

Yes, bring them all. It's worth the entry fee. There are going to be some awesome boats there this year!! There is no better run event. How many Poker Runs are at one of the largest performance boat dealers in the U.S. with full service??

Indy, whats your cruise speed. If my wife goes I'll be riding next to you:rolleyes:
I have tired 502s with POS 26s. They run fine but have 425 hours on them. I hope to get at least an uppper end rebuild on them sometime so I can have some more confidence in running them harder. I generally cruise around 50-55. I blew through my prop and exhaust budget investing in my business this winter so looks like I'll be running those POS 26s until I get the money to have them tweaked. If I can get these props done by the run (or any run for that matter) my numbers will creep up a bit. Dan...cool with the rough, it has a way of bringing most boats down to my cruise speed LOL!!!! We were talking about a Block Island run too, who started that one? (Sean, Wes?) Also, how many miles is the MSPR approximately? |
Indy,
The run is about 125 miles, so it's a nice long run. Who do you have do your prop work?? Hale propellor in CT does a great job and you cant beat their prices. |
