I just want to publicly thank Ed for all the help he has given me during my quest for PowerPlay information which lead up to the purchace of my '97 33' SportDeck. He's also helped after my purchase answering a few questions I had as I was to make some changes.

I know he has also helped many people here too who also appreciate his input. Since the company no longer exists (well at least historically) we don't have anywhere or anyone to turn to in seeking help. Dan doesn't participate in these forums so we're left with few resources.

Ed...if we get a gathering of PPs up here on Long Island Sound this summer, you have an open invitation to ride in my boat (actually JROMY's would be much more fun LOL!!) and food & drinks are on me...Steve :)

Very nice guy. Met him at the factory, and he helped me get a few parts for my boat and a friends.

it's a bit premature for me to give thanks, but since I'm on the hunt and for my situation it's pretty much a done deal as long as the boat passes a survey and mechanical check.....I know I'll have many questions....thanks Ed!!!! I'll be contacting you this week!!!!

Ed helped me a few times with questions with my boat. He has a ton of knowledge about boats in general --especially the Powerplays.

If you are ever in SoCal, let me know and I'll take you for a ride in my Cobra....sorry, don't have the PP anymore.

What boat are you buying??

I'm planning on buying DONO's 1995 33 sportdeck.....I've ordered up a survey and an also having my engine builder and also the company that does my service go thru it in the next few weeks. Talked to the guy that bought my Sunsation today and it will be picked up on the 28th of April at the latest....My family and I are extremely excited about this deal and hope everything goes good! tennative plans are a complete mechanical rebuild in the winter of '07/08 and a complete redo of the exterior the following winter...just waiting for the results, and a go or no go decision


I've always loved the Powerplays and don't see myself in anything else................

Hmmm...Now thats a tuff one! The AC is one of my all time favorites, for sure. Thanks for the offers guys. On a side note, I just walked in the door from the Palm Beach Boat Show & checked out Tom Masons first new PowerPlay 38' & 23'...All I can say is WOW!!! Scott(sales) & Tom are primed to take this to a new level of performance & quality, and it showed. Without me babbling on & on about these fantastic works of art...take my word for it, the next chance you get, check them out!:crazy:

Post this as a thread, I seem to recall sombody getting a new ladder recently. I'm going to strip mine and re-paint it, the original coating is peeling.

Please post a pic of your swim ladder I think we can still get some old school stuff.
