Default Bravo 1's and horsepower

How much horsepower can the Bravo 1's handle? I have a 33' sport currently powered with 496 HO's and bravo 1's. Thinking about merc 525's. Are there any upgrades to the Bravo 1's that will help them handle the extra power. looking for more speed but I would still like to maintain the reliability. Maybe some easy uprgades to the 496's ...any ideas?

Saw you last Sunday go down and back up the Livingston channel. We were anchored in the bay at the north end.

You need a trailer! bottom was brown. Did you ever measure mine?

Tell me about it! Performnce trailers just finished it and I am trying to find time to pick it up now. I ran with the Konrad boat for a stretch...I wan't a bit more speed! Wonder what he got in that boat?? Thanks for the offer to measure yours but I just didn't have the time to make one.

Cool on the trailer!

He prob runs low to mid 80's (I think thats the class limit) as its a P4 raceboat (33 Fountain)
