33' Center Console!!
 

Hello - does anyone have any experience with a 33' console? Good, bad etc? Inboard or outboard...All input would be appreciated. Anyone know of a clean one for sale? thanks

I have a 1997 33 sportfish with twin 502's. Bought the boat used in 2001. I boat in Lake Michigan and it handles our steep, short period waves without trouble. However, I do not have a lot of experience in other performance boats so I really can't compare the ride. The engines are a tight fit with a bulkhead running across the top of the engines. I actually had a fiberglass shop modify the bulkhead to where it is now removeable; make removing the engines a lot easier. I normally run with the tanks half full (220 gallons full) and 4 people on board and get an honest 65 mph at 4800 rpm. During my sea trail in florida, I thought we hit 70 mph at 5000 rpm but could be mistaken. Nothing else comes to mind right now, let me know if you have any other questions.
