I've been on a 33' with the Bravo ITS and sporty shorties, it would hit 87 with stock 32s (Merc 525s), I think the ITS has a 7" set-back if I recall. It definitely needed cav plates to get on plane because he broke one off once and it was a headache to get up, but with both cavs it works and runs beautifully.

I am hanging a pair of Imco neutral boxes now with -2 Imco shorties. I have my fingers crossed that it will be a nice set-up.

I intend to run 5 blades to overcome any palning issues.

Indy I need to get you the latest pics. The motor dynoed yesterday and the bottom has been blue printed.

Keep us informed on how it turns out. What did the engines end putting out on the dyno?

Simple answer is YES, extension boxes work extremely well on PowerPlays.

After 2 years of dry dock, countless hours of work, and money. My project is finally complete. I have not yet dialed it in, but the results so far are more than what I could have expected.

The overall ride and handling have been greatly improved. With the increase in horse power, ride height, extension boxes, blue printing, and shorties came a comfortable cruise speed of 60+ and a top speed of ???. The fuel consumption is better than moderate with naturally aspirated motors and believe that the drives should live a long strong life too.

Special thanks to Don and D Fox for tolerating a lot very late nights. Both their patience and Don's limitless knowledge pulled this project together.

Hats off to Tony of CMS and Steve of Burtonsville Speed for two incredible engines that surpassed everyones guess on the power.

Andy, It was great to see a finished project. The boat planes better than expected, and cruises easily at 80 with throttle and trim remaining. Thanks for letting me drive on the return leg of the run. Here is a picture at 80!!
