Was that Jromy's 525 powered boat that got stolen/stripped last year? If so, I don't remember if it ever got reassembled or not.....

That is a shame, that boat was gorgeous.

Steve, you'll be happy to know that it looks as good now as when it was built. It has big power and Konrads now, and runs sweet. The 38 is a favorite of mine, maybe one day....

I agree, and i don't think they would really be that much faster with steps or a step !

They are so light, no steps needet !!!!
They perform so well, no steps needet !!!!

U only need steps if u can improve something, on a 28-33 PP , not needet !!

I think that is the first shot of the blue 38 I have ever seen posted online! This is the boat that has been re-rigged with 700/NXT's.

For those of you that don't recognize the paint scheme it was a copy of the Playboy 35 Cigarette. My buddy liked the paint and did the boat in 03, two years after the Cig premiered. Nick liked it but didn't want to copy Oliver's so he specified Navy. There was a guy in North Palm that had a 35 Playboy and this Powerplay was huge compared to the Cig (and faster)! To be fair the Cig had 500's and the PP had 525's....

In the late 70's when I was forming opinions on what a good running boat looked like it was the 32 Cobra.
