So where's the pics of the rest of the stuff? What condition? Ransom cut for ??? Trailer? 17k is steep with no rigging. I'd be interested if it was in the 10k range

How old are those pictures? Isnt that the RUNNING HOT boat in the back ground of the last pic? and didnt it burn a few years back?

Indy 12-08-2011 11:55 AM

Maybe I'm wrong but isn't that a pre '97 lower freeboard hull? And who performed the lay-up, is it PowerPlay or someone who got ahold of the molds? What materials were used etc?

Look close. It looks like fire damage on Runnin Hot.

Wally 12-08-2011 12:01 PM

From these pics right after the fire that hull looks too clean!

POWERPLAY J 12-08-2011 12:11 PM

Thats the opposite side. Note the roof collapsed but is still up on the port side. I used to know the guy that owned it and saw pics after the fire.

I could be wrong but...

Wally 12-08-2011 12:13 PM

And you could be right. :)

From the owner... who i believe is a board member:
"boat is a 88, there is no rigging , boat as been in a warehouse since 89"

TeamSaris 12-08-2011 12:44 PM

Its a real PP as well. Customer of ours has been talking to the owner

I must be going senile. I quoted myself and put the wrong year in. Duhhh... LOL

For the first year or so I thought Dan had someone else build them. Steve1 would know.

Those are current pics and yes that is running hot. It was not damaged as bad as it looks it in other photos, just some heat and smoke damage and cleaned up pretty good. the owner of the pp built r.hot and wants to restore it one day. The powerplay is a very nice hull and a low sided model(pre96) which is why it looks so sleek. The cobra boats have a bolt on faring wind screen while the powerplays are molded into the boat . Here are some other pics I took a month or so ago.
