260s guy in new york changed the cowls with fresh motors 1 waves 1/3 fuel 2 poeple gps was 75+ wife was to busy holding on to get good reading she said she saw 83 . guy from fla in another post on this boat said he only can get 75. I heard when he did the cowls he was having problems getting enough air in, at full throttle it would suficate, the old cowls had big vents cut in them.
