Hey key time what is the differences in cockpit space and cabin space between your checkmate and a 33 sport deck I/o

I've only been in one 33 and that was an '89 that belongs to lake13oz at LOTO.

My cabin is definitely taller. I'm 6'0" and I can sit up in my cabin but I can't sit up in the cabin of the '89 33 except for the most aft seating location just in front of the cabin door.

I have a deeper cockpit in my 283 as well and probably just a tad more cockpit space. The 283 is really laid out pretty well and that's one reason I bought it as my first performance boat.

These are also reasons I'm leaning toward a later, deeper 33.

The Checkmate has been a great boat and has exceeded my expectations, but I eventually want an offshore boat I can charge harder with in the rough stuff. Post-Shootout at LOTO, I run out of hull and I'm beating up both my boat and my passengers if I really get after it.
