Boating on lake Norman
Anyone been boating on Lake Norman thinking about relocating someday wondering what is like for performance boating
|
I go there every summer. Beautiful lake! I will retire there someday. The lake is large, fairly wide and deep. It's not bad for performance boating, although my boat is far from fast! There are some good waterfront establishments and some really nice coves to raft up in. There are a decent number of fast boats including a Skater that I've seen on the lake. I love it!

Speed limits Noise limits Ect.\

Ended up there by accident several years ago with my 28 Cigarette in tow and had one of best and most memorable boating days ever. Great place, great people.

A lot of the guys on boatfreaks.org live/boat there. Seems to be pretty performance boat friendly. I am thinking about moving there some day as well.

Lake Norman has no speed limit or noise restrictions. Lots of things to do and has a massive tie-up every weekend Jeff Wurl
