33 outboard?

Does anyone here have any info or history on the outboard in the classifieds? I assume it was a conversion correct? I loved and miss my old 33 and think it would great to have one with outboards. Be able to use it year round. I bought my last one with a little shaky history and it cost me a fair amount, so trying to not repeat those steps. I know it's an older boat so thank you to anyone who could help with any history with it.

I don't think I have ever asked a question about a boat on here that some of you guys didn't know about. I don't know if that is a good or bad thing about this boat lol

Sorry, no real info about the boat but don't automatically assume it's an outboard conversion. They did build quite a few with outboards and that bracket, the deck line and rear lounge seating looks right to me. I've seen pics of other 33's done the same way.

Nice looking boat but check the engines carefully, the 'racing' 350's weren't total void of problems.

That boat was originally a triple engine setup and the redo and conversion to twins was done by Smart Marine in Orlando area.

I don't buy that boat in the classified was a 80 mph boat.
I'd bet more like low 70s dialed

I don't see why it wouldn't with that power and how light they are. Low 80's to high 70's seems legit with that set up.

Sure seems like a push to me. It's also the older hull before they re-tooled and changed the laminate schedules.

the oldest hull is faster?
