I’ve had it here since 2007. So cool that more have landed at LOTO!

Thanks, guys! That’s really nice to hear.

The first run on Saturday (87) was my first time ever running the boat for speed. I aired it out more on Sunday as I got more comfortable with it. Ran 88 and 88, then went to the dock to clear all the weight out of it. lol Had some extra just-in-case stuff on the boat. Went out and ran an 89 then. Got too greedy and blew the props out after that for an 86. That was a shame, but it was a great experience while learning the boat. Went back to the start for a final attempt at 90 but they shut down after the boat in front of me at 2:58pm. That was frustrating, but if you can’t hit 90 in 5 tries, that’s the driver’s problem.

We’re obviously not running the fastest boats for the power, but I had a blast showing off the 33 and, as Robert Goulet says, doing the event a freaking service.

Seriously, I really enjoyed friends and family running vicariously with me and enjoying the show. Brad Harrington and I both ran 87 on Saturday and talked some trash. I told him they should let us do an old school drag race next year.
