25 Powerplay ?

Are there still any 25 Powerplays around? Any of them Bravo boats? or mostly outboards

Twin O/B Sonic 09-28-2020 07:00 PM

Almost all are twin OBs.

Great boats.

Anyone know of a twin OB for sale anywhere? Looking to buy.

Do we know how many Bravo boats were built?

I think all I’ve seen were in Fla and haven’t seen one in a while.
Last one I did see was a center console.

I’m not even sure (memory being what it is) I’ve seen an IO 25 but think so.

Being a twin OB guy, I was always a fan but being that we weekend on our boats their cabins are too small.

I waded through this huge thread one afternoon. I think the answer to how many were built is in there somewhere.
https://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/...lay-boats.html

It's a great read for Powerplay fans and even if it doesn't say how many i/o 25's were built, the thread will leave you wanting one even more. 🙂

Agreed.

I read it yrs ago and wanted a 28 which basically don’t exist.

The 25’s were the first PP’s I saw and introduced me to them.

In my life, the 33 OB (know those were IO and OB) was/is one of THE boats on my A list.

Looked at two.
One w/triple 300Xs and one w/twin 300 XSs.
Couldnt afford but should have (mortgaged the house) bought the one w/the twins.

I always strive to own “THAT” boat where I can sit in a lawn chair w/a beer in my hand while staring at it and not think of anything that I need to improve on it.

A 33 twin OB is one of very few that I think could do that.

I agreed a deal on a 25 sterndrive with an OSO member a few years ago but the seller pulled out because the engine showed poor compression and change plans. Subsequently, I bought the Donzi (now sold).

Love the idea of looking at "THAT" boat from a lawn chair, unfortunately, I don't have enough space at home, or a wife who enjoys boating as much as yours does. 🙂

I emailed the power play owner a while ago and he told me he sold the 25 & 28 molds to some random people. Still has the 33’ molds and would sell them. I also want a 25 outboard wish could find one for sale or the people that bought the molds. ???

If anyone is looking for a 25....the original 25 molds are now at Speedcraft Boats in Homestead FL.....Angel is the owners name. Just so no confusion.....when the auction went down at Powerplay the 25' molds were bought by Dolphin boats and nothing was done with them....sat for a few years all shrink wrapped...now have been sold to speedcraft...they wanted them for the CC version but have all the stuff to build both the I/O or the CC

Found it. Thanks!
Then spent half an hour reading through other posts and saw some for sale a few years ago.
My timing sucks.
