28 Powerplay
 

Can anyone give me any info about the 28 powerplays! The difference in handling between a single, twin small blocks, or twin big blocks? What about speeds twin 330 454s or twim 350 small blocks stock? Any info that you guys have is appreciated

Bajaboat, I don't know to much about the 28's but there basically like a 33. Built like a brick **** house! good handling boat. I know of a 28 with twin 454's for sale if your interested!

My friend has a 28. He's very happy with it. It's a single and ran gps at 84mph. He just installed an intercooler, so it should hit the mid to upper 80's. I do not know of anyone who has a twin to compare. But by looking at the engine compartment with the twins, it would be a nightmare to work on. And they are built like a sh$$ brick house. One of the best built boats I've seen.

I believe he sold the boat to a friend of his and upgraded to a 33. I spoke to him Sunday. Very nice guy and he will tell you everything you need to know about the boat...
