33 Powerplay I/O vs. Outboard
What is everyone's opinion on the difference between the two? I've been on a 33 I/O, but have never seen the outboard version. Looks like the twin outboard setup gives you a ton of cockpit room. How are they as far as balance, performance, etc. How are the outboards as far as speed, reliability, gas mileage, and salt water maintenance?

Re: 33 Powerplay I/O vs. Outboard
JROMY, I'm the opposite, I have a triple outboard, but have never been on the i/o. I can tell you the ride is fun and it handles Lake Michigan very well. The cockpit was a big sellig point for me, and it is huge for this style of boat. triple 200's will get you 72-74 mph. twin 300x's will get you 74-76 mph. hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questions.
