Re: Powerquest Factory
Just came back from the Chicago show and it seems the chrome trimmed gauges along with colored bezels is the rage. Anyone have that setup yet? They sure were sweet!!

Re: Powerquest Factory
Jon, I talked with a guy at the Sunsation both and asked the status of the F-4. He seemed to think a year plus yet on seeing one. Not sure if thats what you'd been hearing or not?

There is a thread in the Sunsation forum that has all the pictures etc. Are you going back to the show over the weekend? |
Re: Powerquest Factory
I had seen all your photo's on the other thread and mentioned to the guy I had been watching the progress via OSO. I really didn't seem to know much to be honest. Very nice guy however. As far as going back once was enough. This show gets smaller and smaller every year. The bulk of the boats are open bow runabouts and a fair amount of big cruisers. Even that amount of vendors present was on the low side.
Challanger was there with a very hot 28. I think it was a 28??? |
Re: Powerquest Factory
I don't want to get too far ahead of everyone but I needed to find out what was going on so I made some calls and spoke with the individual's who are in the process of finalizing the purchase of the Powerquest Company.
When I spoke with them they advised me that they are very active or at least are very, very familiar with OSO. I kind of caught them by surprise but they assured me that they will be personally contacting the Powerquest dealers very soon to go over all that has and will transpire. These individual's bring credentials that will send some shockwaves to other major custom powerboat manufacturers as Powerquest will now have ownership with experience in serious offshore racing, rigging, and marketing. I own a Powerquest 38 and look forward to working with the factory and new ownership. The new owner's stated they will be making a formal announcement very soon and I think a lot Powerquest owners will rejoice. I hope this answers most of the questions on this board. Sam |
