Re: Powerquest Factory
I believe PQ started in 1983 (power play back then), so the 25 year anniversary would be 2008. The plant has been closed for over a year already, so why not wait 2 more?????????????????
I'm sure a re-opening in an anniversary year would cause all the dealers, customers, and former employees to come RUSHING back! :D |

Re: Powerquest Factory
Think the official start was 83, but Todd and Kevin purchased the Baron hull from OSO's tommymonza's brother in 82 which became Power Play's first boat, the 185xlt.
For anyone interested....the Baron hull was an orig. design and was built at Baron Marine on S. Division in Grand Rapids Mi. The PP boys made some changes - gas tank location, rear seat loc. etc.. and were off and running. Seems like along time ago .. some early pics of Baronmarines (Todd) who is also a member here. If you guy's read this I saw Baron hull#2 few weeks ago - on the water :D |

Re: Powerquest Factory
Any new info on Hirdes being a potential player in the saga that's become "the powerquest buy-out".
Is Phill Hall still a player? Skater?   |
Re: Powerquest Factory
I'm starting to lose hope for PQ coming back. And all these rumor's and hear say just bums me out! I wish something would happen and quick. The longer it is vacant the harder it will be for them to get back to business if they ever do come back?????
