I also think since this economy is still lagging may be part of the reason PQ is taking things slow.

Theres another performance boat builder also out of Michigan thats not doing the numbers they had hoped
hopefully it will work out for them.

I don't think so; just check out Sunsation's website and forum section. With the introduction of the F-4 in 2006 and the 32SSR in late 2007, the factory continues to pump out works of art that are in high demand; not only in the states, but in Europe as well.

Performance and Michigan - those two words would bring Skater to mind too. Not sure who the reference was to though.

Skaters in a league of its own. Not a good comparison to PQ.. Heck the price of a 24 Skater you could pick up a new 30 PQ that actually has a use other than going fast. It's all in what you want.

I heard it was Sunsation also, the F-4 is not taking off like they thought it would, and they might be laying people off. From what I heard they backed out of moving into their new building, due to boat sales. Seems like everyone is having problems selling new boats.

I can't imagine any of he manufactures are doing what they did a few years ago. Other than someone like Outerlimits.

Say what you want but fuel cost are becoming an issue.I know it's a small part of the sport but when you bring the tow vehicle into the mix on top of if thats your primary source of transportation , your going to start to feel it. Put that on top of increase in the cost of manufacturing boats and sales will decrease. It's a changing market and it will be interesting to see whats changes are made to compete in this market.

I toured nortech a few weeks ago and they were sold out for the yr and it was only feb. Most were going overseas because of week dollar made them more affordable.
