pop up cleats
 

Has anyone added pop up cleats to an Avenger? Im thinking about doing it and need to know the issues if any. Im worried about room on the side cleats.

Mine has them from the factory. So what do you mean by the room on the side of the cleat?

You have to have a place for them to drain or a hose running out of the bottom of the cleat. But like I said mine are factory installed so yes it can be done.

Im worried that they wont have enough room to fold in on the side, but looks like if you have them factory Im OK. What do you mean by drain hose? I dont see that in the pics of the cleat? Im looking at accorn pop ups.

Fold in on the side? Mine pop-up straight up and down.

Mine are horzional on the side and thats why Im worried, I think only the pop ups were mounted on the non skid part. See pic....

Well they do have a cup type thing behind them so you may have a clearance issue?

I do have to say the ones you have now look like toe and ankle harpoons! :D

You are soooo right!!!! All the dam things do is rip off toes :eek:
I think I will pull one off and see if I have room.

I also have pop ups from the factory and mine are mounted on the side not the walk area. Just to let you know. Good luck.
