29 Enticer with a single??

I was just on boat trader and noticed a 29 Enticer with a big signle for sale. Never knew they made such a thing. Price was fair other that it was blown so I'm sure there's a reliability issue. Just wondering if anyone else has ever seen one??
I called the factory to ask but they refused to answer the phone.  :D :D :D

I've seen them before. Not as many around as ones with twins though.

Can't remember where I got the info, but I was told the enticer was initially designed to be powered by a single.

Only made a few as they quickly learned that was not going to satisfy the customers.

I was also told that's why the 29 squats so much...

Very inetersting. I've never heard that before. To be honest if they were still in business that may not be a bad way to go again with the fuel cost. From what I've seen in the market place the bigger singles seem to be selling a fair pace compared to the twins. Things have changed over the years power wise and it would be interseting to see what a 29 would run with say a blue 500 under the hatch?

I think a single in that boat is a bad idea. Certainly a 500 blue is not enough. Perhaps an 800HP plus would work. That amount of HP pushing that heavy of boat behind a Bravo style drive sounds like trouble. I think that boat is great with twin 7.4s and a real sleeper with twin 454 MAGS. Just my opinion.

The 290 was designed for twins.

We built the first single 29 on special request from a customer in Holland. I think we built 1 more while I was at PQ - I left in 2000 so I don't know if they built any after that.

I have an ink drawing of a 300 Revenge with a paint job similar to mine that depicts only 1 motor. It has what looks like an IMCO drive on it.
