91 270laser what prop

I just purchased a 270 with a stock 502 mag with a 23 mirage is that the right prop. It seems to work hard to get up on plane.I did not get a chance to trim up and see what top rpms are.1.5 gear ratio.

I was running a 454 built with 460hp running Hydromotive prop I think it was a 22pitch (i can check and see) anyway top speeds of around 63mph.

I have a 95 Laser with 454 Mag efi and run a 21 Mirage. My friend has a 93 Laser with 502 Mag and runs a 23 Mirage. Neither are plus's.
