Hey all, I'm new to OffShoreOnly but I already love all the great ideas and scoop that's available. I have a 1992 Powerquest 222XL that is in pristine shape. I just installed a built Mercruiser 454Magnum MPI that's got about 405Hp. I just broke in the engine and i'm looking for any advice on what propr I should run. Currently I'm running 60mph @ about 2900 rpm's as I have yet to open it up all the way.Prop on it now is a 14x22 Mach SternDriver ss. Thanks in advance for any help and ideas.

First thing you might want to do is check your speedo or your tach. I don't think it is possible to run 60mph at 2900 RPM with your set up. I am assuming you are probably running a 1.50 gear in it.

You will have to open it up to see where your RPM are at before starting to make any prop decisions.
