257 Legend??
 

I'm trying to get a handle on the various smaller PQ models. I'm pretty sure my 257 is the current 260. Someone also told me that at one time they called it the 270 since it is around 27ft with the molded in swim platform. Is this correct?

What years was it called what? Anyone know?

The 257 is the same as the 260. I had a 98 260. I think they started calling them 260's in 97. The 270 is a different boat. You could get it with twin small blocks at one time. I think they stopped making that in 2000 or there abouts because they had came out with a 280 I think in 99. I'm sure I'm not 100% accurate but you get the idea. The 257/260 is a great boat!

I know the 280 (stepped hull) was around in '99, because I had one. I think the 270 went out in 2000 or maybe 2001. The 257/260 is a different boat.

The 260 is the same as the 257. I had a 1997 260 and I think that was the first year they called it a 260.
