I think the dash project is a go...

...showed the boat to a guy today and as I was looking at it, I am really not happy with the way the helm panel and gauges have aged. So I think I'm a'gonna change the gauges and refinish the panels over the fall/winter. Anyone know if Dana Marine is on the board? Want to see if they'll work a deal on Beede gauges; want to compare prices with Trick and other suppliers - I only want it to *look* like a million bucks! :D

They are on OSO. I've been very please with the ones I purchased. The white faces with the satinless bezels look very nice. I do need to monkey with my fuel sending unit as the fuel gauge reads full at 3/4 now. Makes me feel like I'm getting some real good milage with that thing sitting on full for so long. :D I don't think you'll find a better value.

Why not upgrade to the Livorsi gauges?

I know. It's those old gauges that bother me....  :D
Just kidding. We're just not sure what direction we'll go. I have a guy that want's my boat so when we're ready it should be a fairly easy move. With PQ gone I'm just not sure what we'll do..

Well I've got my eye on a new boat, so if you're looking to move let me know. Had a guy look at it over the weekend, but you know how that goes... doesn't cost anything to look.

Hi, thanks for considering Dana Marine Products. The Beede line is priced extremely well compared to others. They're a great quality gauge. I sell alot of them, and have a great satisfaction level with our customers. We do have some other nice incentives, $150.00 online purchases get free UPS ground shipping. Spend $250.00 we'll throw in the shipping and a T Shirt. You can see them online @ www.danamarineproducts.com or you can let me know what gauges you need and I'll work up a quote. Thanks again, and I look forward to hearing from you.
Bob @ Dana Marine

John that looks great. By the way what did Rick charge you? He did some interior work for me before they closed at a great price to boot.

Doc, can you e-mail more pics on your boat? Also is that a pink or red stripe on the side. The photo's make it tough to tell. Also carbs or efi's??

Send the pics to my office e-mail, more is better!

If they don't get something going soon I maybe looking at a Baja 29 Outlaw

I do miss the guys and gals at PQ, they certainly had top notch customer service. And Rick was first class and a real asset.

Fast Forward,
Don't buy a Baja just because the factory is out right now. Doc's Powerquest is a lot better than a 29 Outlaw.
