vyper gps question
 

I am going to install a gps in the vyper in spring but do not have access to the boat for about a month, does anybody have any pics of where they mounted the gps so i can determine how big the unit could be, obviously the bigger the better as far as the gps goes but i had my gps mounted in my other boat right in front of me and at night it would blind you. any pics would be appreciated.

Well, there really is no good place to mount one unfortunately. This is why I have a hand held. Most folks mount them on a bracket where my gps antenna is. (Just above the trim indicator.) Or on the dash pod, but I don't like that location because....it's just fugly up there.

Is that a Garmin? and if so what model? It looks like that is even a tight fit.

this is where mine was, I totaly re did the dash. I would recommend you do that, its not a big job and totaly changes the look od the boat. I did mine like a Formula, removed the speedo and had the GPS in the center. I will see if I can find pics.
