99 Viper

I had a 99 Viper, but it came with the HP500's . Great boat, lots of space and good ride but I wouldn't go with those small motors. At a min you need the 502's
Having said that I expect without a trailor and in great condition that boat would be around 70 - 75K . Small motors drag the price down.

I agree with the fact that the smaller motors will drag it's value down, mine has 500 HP's and pulls hard, i dont think I would want anything smaller than 2 500 HP motors in the Vyper.

not sure about value but calculate the cost of rebuilds in the near future if they have 480hrs. Combined with the fact that it's probably a low 60's mph boat and would you be happy with that.

NADA guide, says that low retail is 68000.00 and average retail is 76800.00 which in todays market is gonna mean that wholesale is gonna be in the upper 50s to around 60000.00.
The 454s kill the value alot. To much boat, not enough motor.

32, what is your budget and have you checked out mine in the classifieds? Showroom condition and if you don't agree I will reimburse you for your flight to come check it out.

AND it runs as good as performancemary's did with 500's. I know cause we compared notes in Miami a couple of years back.

Great time Jim, BTW! :drink:

That is a high 50's low 60k boat. "real" value.

If it's a clean boat, it's should be worth that, the boat stickered for in the low 130s new, because the 99 I bought listed for 181 and change with the 500hps and actually sold for right at 150,000.00 on the trailer and with 502 mags retail new was in the low 150s. I'm not an authority by any means but I researched the boat pretty thoroughly when I bought mine new because of the lack of dealers in the south....If I'm not mistaken when I bought mine new in late 99 their were 3 dealers in Fl...damned near as bad a dealer network as Formula had down here.
