World Famous Blondes Preferred Boat

Finished changing the oil in the motors last night. Also change the drive oil and put on new antidote corrision parts. When to start up the starboard motor and the sea water pump was lockup. Luckly I keep a spare at the garage but it made for a late night. One hour and fiftheen minutes later we finally fired both of them up. Started on the first crank love those efi's. Change all the wheel bearings on the trailer along with the races. Do this every year as I don't want to be broke down along side of the road. For $225 dollars it isn't worth worrying about.
First trip out will be Memorial Weekend. See you all at Cumberland.

Runs nice

The 575sci's sound real nice. They begin to put out an nice wine at around 3200 rpm and when you get on it the sound is intoxicating. She needs some different props as the 32" labbed max five blades keet it at around 4900.She tops out at 84.5 to 84 now.
Looking to trade the props for something around 28" to 30" ina a five or 32" to 34" in a four.
Only been out once this year and took it easy to run down the old fuel.
Looking forward to Memorial day for the next run. Ready to go!!!!!

Hey John, we've had your old boat on the water the last three weekends and spent the nights in the party cove. The inverter is installed now so we can use the micro and watch tv. Every body is in love with her! I reconfigured the throttles to sstt as she is a bear to handle in the wind around the docks. Hope this helps with reaction time. Also installed a capacitor for the amp and no more tunes cutting out at volume. Sent Bob Molenhouse at PQ some pics of her and he emailed me back asking if he could throw them on the PQ webite. Also spoke with Rick who worked the line when our boat was built. He is very knowledgeable on our boat. Hey the air con works great didn't see any reason to bother you with a phone call. If you want to talk sometime give me a call. Dr. Phils number is 1800 goboating!

Go to the AT forum. There is always something happening there. ;) :D

How big an inverter do you need to run that Micro and was it much work to install .
My 38 doesn't have one and I was thinking of putting one in

Well folks, here is the reason I made the above comment. Pics of the arrival of the new AT and departure of the PQ. :D

It was a great boat, but time to move up. If anyone is interested in a meticulously maintained 340 I bet AT will make you a deal. ;)

PM, me if you would like specs or pics or have any questions.

Now, I'm off to start detailing on the new girl. Have a poker run next weekend and I want her looking good for the helo pics.

Macklin the boat looks awsome. I'm sure the new PQ owner will be happy.

Well I bought a new set of Hydro P29x props this last week and was able to get the tank to run 80.4 GPS yesturday:D , I was quite shacked in that, but very happy. there may be more but once I hit 80 I pulled back, that was my goal and I hit it, I figured why chance it. Our local boating group was planing a speed run but it got moved tell next week and I'm out of town so I banked my time tell then. Hope this gives you a PQ fix this week.:p

We went with a 1800w xantrex inverter. I have a good friend thats a electrical engineer so that helped alot. She was not happy with the factory wiring from the batts to the batt switches and replaced it with heavier stuff. Running the ac power wire to the electrical cab. in the cabin can be diff. to get it run behind the closet.

Air

DAVE K
So when you are using the air the inverter is drawing power from all three batteries?

Sorry, when I said ac power wire I was refering to ac current not the air con. I have 5 Optima batteries total. We use 4 by putting both our batt switches on the #2 setting, set both the batt switches on 1 for the back up to start engines. They all charge no matter what the psition of the switches.
