Well all the updates to the interior are now complete and there's nothing left to update. So know onto the engine compartment for some carpet removal. This should be fun!!
Here's a few pics. New carpet, gauges, cup holders, speakers & billet grills, steering wheel and hub, foot rest (boy are they a great add on) MP3 player and new stereo.

Hard to believe thats a 1997--Looks like a 2007!! Hey, if you get really bored my Legend could use your magical touch..Beers are on me!!
We just had an awesome week of weather--80 to 86 degrees and thats in late May (almost unheard of in Seattle--I went out almost everyday--it was awesome)! I cant tell you how many compliments I get on the PQ--no one here has ever seen one before and they all just love it..

Fast Forward 06-05-2007 11:28 AM

Boat looks great!

I inquired about the boat some time ago but it has yet to be put up for sale...unless I missed something.

Powerquest_Baby!! 06-08-2007 12:23 AM

No (on the gauges being installed). I am going to have to remove the dash and drill the holes and am just not prepared to do that yet (maybe in the fall). Ive been too busy installing the stereo and using the darn thing!! On top of boating I love to ride my sportbike and golf so every spare minute lately has been spent having fun!!

Fast Forward 06-08-2007 06:18 AM

Knot, No you didn't miss anything just giving you a hard time.:D

Fast Forward 07-05-2007 09:55 PM

wheatieworld 08-03-2007 06:36 PM

Hey great boat, could you give me some info on the foot rests as they look to be a great add on, thanks in advance!!!

Fast Forward 08-03-2007 09:14 PM

They came direct from the past owners of Powerquest. You maybe able to call PQ and they may have some in stock. I can't recall the name of the stainless company in Grand Rapids that made them but I'm sure someone will chime in .

For some reason I'm thinking Grand Products????

johnny b good 08-04-2007 07:18 AM

Yes it is Grand Products Co. thats where I got mine from also.

Nice Job FF on your boat, we think alike I have similar changes on my 257 but not nearly as nice results.

I called Grand and spoke to Scott who stated "Unfortunately, all the finished products we had on our shelf have been scraped since the new PQ ownership has not produced any boats or placed any production orders."

Any other source for a set of foot rests? I am tired of stuffing a rolled up towel under the carpet

I'm sure they had all that PQ Product on their shelf way before the new owners took over,
Grand Product owned PQ and lets just say they weren't to successfull with it.

Call Hi Tec Stainless at 269-543-4205.

Walt used to pattern everything at PQ - not sure if he's still there though.

Hi Tec did all the stainless for PQ before Grand Products.

I imagine that Grand Products could still make you one too if they wanted to.

Fast Forward 10-08-2008 06:09 AM

I guess I can't blame them for scrapping. 2 years and no boats, with no real dates on the 1st to roll out the doors. However being they were the past owners as well there could be some bad blood there, which could mean the new owners had no plans on buying in product from them anyhow??
