please help need some information.

my father bought a 96/97 24 ft powerquest. we just had the haudraulics fixed for the engine trim. my question is how far is the motor suppose to trim up without being in trailer mode. i dont believe it is trimming up the way it should. any pics or info will be greatly appreciated.

thanks in advance

It might be trimming up high enough. I know mine out of the water doesn't look like it trims up very high compared to how much higher it goes when you hit the trailer switch. If it is easy to water test try trimming up and if it will start to cavitate at w.o.t. with out touching the trailer switch it's going high enough. I am sure their is a adjustment for this.Good luck.

measure the trim cylinder.when its all the way trimed up it should be 21-3/4 for a bravo from the center of bolt to bolt.

you can adjust it by rotating the trim limit switch on the left side of the gimbal ring
you can also adjust your trim gauge by rotating the trim sender located on the right side of the gimbal ring
