Sorrta off topic but I am working on finishing my Pachangga project. Decided ta just go with PQ I just bought stock. When my guy finishes my Pachangga I'm just gonna take the PQ in and have it serviced and ready for the warm when it gets here! :D

She's sitting down in Lauderdale waiting for me in 4 weeks to splash her :D

agreed! Don't we have someone who can do a drive-by and see what's happening? They should be getting at least a couple of boats ready for The Detroit Boat Show........

I live two blocks from the plant, and work three blocks from it. I'll cruise by a take a look here in the next week or so and see if I notice any action. ON the activity note, I don't know if this counts, but I'm looking to build a custom 383 fr my old 185 XLT. Maybe this counts, maybe not???

No projects for me this winter. Had a couple things I could have done but unfortunately my free storage and access to the building went south when someone expressed interest in leasing the building. Sad thing for me is they backed out and I could have used the space after all. Worked out great as I was able to keep my boat stored in a paint booth with all that great lighting!! Now it's stuck in a indoor storage building thats not very accessible. I'm sure the wife likes that.

As for PQ, I plan on going to the Chicago show and pending my mood maybe the GR show. If I go to the GR show I was planning on stopping by PQ and seeing whats up.. I can't belive any of you in the area don't do that?? Heck I'd drive them so crazy they'd kick a boat out just to get rid of me.:D

Anyone interested in a long sleeve PQ pull over?? I has cleaning out the closet and forgot I had the thing. I bet its been worn 2-3 times if that.

We should hook up for a cold one in Chicago. Knot and I will be there.

I'd be game. I normally hit the 1st day it opens and get there as the gates are opening.

I don't assume Sunsation will have your boat there this year??

I haven't stopped by and talked to someone in the PQ building in a long time, but wind up driving by quite a bit. There are trucks in the parking lot every day, and I see a little activity in the bull-pin. One of the larger molds disappeared and went inside the building. Last time I talked to one of the new owners, he told me they were looking at experimenting with different materials to construct the hulls out of. They were looking for stronger and lighter hulls. I haven't seen any boats come out of the building as of yet though. In fact last boat I saw enter/exit the building was an OLD 30 foot Sea Ray from the Late 70's-early 80's. I'll check it out next week and get you guys an update. :cool-smiley-011:
