27 Laser w/twins???
Can't say I've ever run across a 27 with twin big blocks before.
Check it out on ebay, thats one tight fit!! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/27-PO...rQ5fMotorboats |
we had a couple of 270 Lazer twins in our lake back in the mid to late 90s,the people that owned them loved them.

I could maybe see small blocks but big blocks?? That thing must have really sat lowin the water at the transom.
|
I thought they were only offered with twin small blocks from the factory?
That guy must have added the big blocks on his own. |

That thing should be a wild ride with 1100 HP.
I bet it could use a pair of K-planes and some Hydraulic steering. |
I'm assuming the top end must not be that great due to it's not stated in the ad. Also did you notice the exhaust angle on the inside headers. Defiantly tight fit.

I owned a 1993 270 with twin small blocks, and I'm pretty sure it wasn't offered with big blocks. Judging by the angle of the exhaust on the port side of both motors, I'd bet it came with small blocks and alphas. Anything over 70 mph in that boat, with those Bennet tabs would definatly turn into a white knuckle ride.

I have the pq book from 96, Twin 350 270 Package that thing with bbc is got to be a wild ride, i would never get on it.
