Nice Boat,I just bought a 1999 260 Legend.How fast did you're Boat go?The Boat I just bought has a brand new HP 500 Merc Racing Motor(550 HP).I live in Mn so I have to wait awhile before I can try it out.

A legend with the 454 magnum (385 hp) will typically go 60-62 mph. Your boat with a HP500 (Actual Horsepower is 470) should be close to 70 I would think.

MN? Will you be running the St Croix? My buddy has a 94 legend, and I have a 93 Laser with a 502 built to HP500+ specs. We both run the river.

Sandman, we run the river as well although mostly the Missi between La Crosse and Pepin. We do make several trips to the Casino in Red Wing and then boat up the Croix. Beautiful areas especially at the Kinni on a weekday when the crowds are much less.

We will have to stay in touch we will be there every weekend.I have quite a few buddies that are there also one has a 36' baja & another has a 29' sunsation.Don't know if you know them or not?I cannot wait to get on the water.I had a 19' Sea Ray last year & just had to step up.I will check out that poker run.Did you do the St Croix poker Run last year or is that the one you are talking about & do you know if their going to do it again?
