Scott - Motor Mounts
 

Scott, I know you were looking at new motor mounts I just got some information in the mail about Gil's new Mounts I dont know if you seen them yet.

Kind of funny you posted that, I trip on them every time I'm in the one area of my garage. I ordered those a few weeks ago. I had no idea that they still use a stud that attaches to the adapter that goes to the block. I almost sent them back but decided to give them a try (priced right). I plan on using red locktite on the bolts that go to the block and if necessary I will weld the nut onto the stud you see in the picture.

Check that timing chain it looks very loose--there shouldn't be very much play at all.

how do ya tighten the timing chain, I thought there was an idler?

You put a new one on!

Guys thanks it will be changed out with a different style. I am using this thread to communicate with Blueman it's a bit easier for him than email (slow connection). so you will be see some not to pretty problems with my rebuild project. Feel free to chime in. Like you guys wouldn't anyway:rolleyes:
