300 Revenge

I am thinking of selling my 2003 280 Silencer to move up to a 32' Sunsation or a 30' Revenge.
There has not been many new listings for these Revenges lately.
Does anybody have any info or leads on any that are around??

Sent you a PM. Bought a new one in 2005 and traded it for another boat. Let me know if you would like more info.

www.davemungenastmarina.com They are in LOTO and have a 2005 Revenge for sale. Seems like a nice one with some good features and comes with a trailer.

Thanks, I saw that one but it's not my favorite graphics combo....can't get past the flames.
I would really like to get a Revenge that has the same graphics as my 280.
If you guys know of any other ones please let me know, it would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Mike

I cannot believe they still have this boat!

I saw it there when it was new. I would be very leary of those motors. I think the graphics have a lot to do with the reason it still has not sold.

Knot 4 Me...why would you be leary of these motors....because they have not run in some time???
And I agree on the graphics...if I was a young hippy punk then they might appeal to me a little more...but such is not the case.
There was a Revenge last year that had near identical graphics as mine.... the colour difference was instead of red it was black...that was a nice rig.

That boat was butt fugly - it didn't sell when the market was good. And now it would be worth less than half of the asking price as soon as you signed the title.

As far as the motors, seals dry out and start to split as soon as you start using it. Bearings, races, lifters start to corrode or oxidize. I probably would not be afraid of buying it but you would have to keep all that in the back of your mind.

Either way...not trying to talk negative about that boat, I think it would be a good buy for about $75000.00 off the asking price so you could spend some money on graphics and interior work and not be married to it financially! (ha ha)

One of the hardest things a motor can do is sit unused. Valvsprings take a set, condensation forms rust on valve faces and seats, cylinder walls and rings, etc. That boat sat outside all the time when I was around that area up until 2007.
