It turned better numbers all the way around plus the handling of the boat was much better. Could come down to drive and engine wear, humidity, altitude and a number of other things.

Im really suprised to hear that because from what Ive read the Hydromotive Quad IV is a stern lifting prop and great for stepped hulls but not good for a conventional bottom. A conventional bottom runs best with a bow lifting prop such as a Mirage Plus (23P) or Bravo 1 (24 P).
Im in Seattle which is sealevel so I would think your RPM and power would be even worse. I ran my boat in Idaho at 2100 ft elevation and could only get the RPM to 4300 and 55 MPH with the Hydro Quad IV. This is what really got me to thinking I needed a new prop.
All I can recommend to anyone out there is to see if you can try some different props before spending your money! I spent $650 on my Hydromotive PLUS $80 on the hub--$730 total only to have the wrong prop for my boat. Lesson learned!

I went purely on FastForwards tests results. The Hydromotive Q4 gave me an extra 2mph top end and much better handling at speed. Every boat is different even if they are the same model.

hydromotives for sale

I have a pair of quad 4 hydromotives right and left 23p both perfect. I only bought them as a pair and needed the right. I want to sell them to get the quad 4 x as I am running these on an older powerquest and want the bow lift not the stern lift. Make me an offer on them if interested
