I believe White Knuckles was completely rebuilt by Dave Lamer's Kid over at Advantage marine. He gutted it and replaced all the rotten wood. It was for sale last summer over there. If memory serve's, he had Martin Bowker do all the glass work.
There is another blue, black, gray 185 on the South side of Holland with a 400 SBC in it that runs some good speeds also. I think its around 500 horse. King bought it a couple years ago out of Ben's shop at Precision Power. That thing porpoised like crazy in the midrange.
There's also one over here too that's being rigged with a blower motor that should really fly this spring also.

The Advantage Marine XLT is not the White Knuckles boat but same blue - also an 87. Few more blue ones that run out of Holland -one has Power Play in big white letters down the side and another one that is a shade lighter blue is BEAR'N IT ALL. There used to be another blue one called YAHOO.
I saw White Knuckles out a few weeks ago and it still sounded real good. It's on CL http://grandrapids.craigslist.org/boa/1915025882.html I think Mookster was looking into it but haven't heard.
I saw the XLT out that was built by the owner of Boat Customs on 48th in Holland last mo. The guy who bought it from him had it for sale w/o the blower on it but not sure if it's still available. Some pics - about 3/4 of the way down http://www.kustompaintedboats.com/imagesBoats.html

Good to know about the Advantage boat. The one by Chris is completely re-fit with a re-configured stringer design, heavier transom, relocated fuel tank, labbed bottom, etc. Not sure if Chris bought it from the owner or not. I forgot that one had a blower in it too. The one i know of with a blower going in to it is a red one.
