yes and no on the deals...you get what you pay for..buying a nice mint boat that all you have to do is put it in the water and go has to be worth something...
what a lot of guys do is look at NADA values and pick the lowest price out of all 3 values,,which is value for a boat that needs work and its in rough shape... once they go inspect the boat then they start deducting off the price for work needed,,well thats now how it works.. there a 2001 380 in Florida that I looked at and would not pay 30k and theres other 2001 out there that are worth close to asking.. |

NO still deals out there some people just dont face reality on asking price thats all. And people wonder why they get offers that are 25k less for these boats... then they end up taking 20k less because they havent even had a call on them.
If someone pays remotely close to the asking price on any of these boats they should have their head examined. |

I know that I paid top dollar for my boat and have no issue with that. The boat is pristine and it's what I really wanted...opposed to haggling, missing out and spend the summer on the dock watching.
Great if you get a 'deal' and can brag to your buddies but it just drives the prices down for the good ones that are priced right...that's all NADA does for us. For me this sport is my passion and I'll drop tons of coin for it...just saying. |

Where else could I find low hour blue 525's, heat, air, fridge, microwave, hot/cold water, camper enclosure, real custom paint.....and of course, turn key needing nothing. Asking price is one thing, trying to low ball and steal a boat is another!! Again nothing wrong with negotiating but paying 0.50 cents on the dollar for a mint boat would be rare...... There are differences in having to sell a boat and wanting to sell a boat......just saying |
Aj, sorry about this weekend, we won't be able to meet up!
|
There is no such thing as a free lunch....nice boats aren't on every corner, when I say nice, I mean nice, when you are looking for a specific boat that they didn't build a ton of you better make a deal or kick yourself in the ass for missing out.
