does anyone have any thoughts or feedback on 380 kplanes? i want to install them on my 290 enticer - with twin 502's

make sure the dont hit the outdrives...

You don't need or want 380s on a 29 foot boat. I'd put the 280s on.

380's are overkill and you increase the risk of tripping and stuffing the nose of the boat. 280's are plenty of tab for your 290.

thanks for the feedback - i have been out of town, and bought them just before i left - what should i do? i paid 2k for them...

Can't say anymore than what has already been said, 380s are overkill. If you install them be careful about how far you lower them on plane since you can cause a nose stuff, or if you run one lower than the other and catch a rogue bad wave you can easily upset the stability of the boat.

You can do both those with the 280s too, just not as easily since they are shorter than the 380s.

The plates themselves are interchangable so you can always sell the longer 380 plates and look for a set of 280 plates.

I have a set of 280 plates for sale, just bought the 380 for my cig..the 280 I just refinshed them with PPG DCC 9300, i can send pics if anyones intrested, Email me at [email protected]

So in essence, I can hook these up, see how they ride, and if I don’t like them I can leave all of the pumps, hoses, lines, and mounting brackets?

Then search for 280's lower's ? Can I buy just the lower's new?
