Congrats on your new ride, they are a beautiful boat!!

PROWRENCH 10-06-2011 06:01 PM

Nice. Headers appear to be dry. How does that work?

Thay do look like a dry header but thay are wet. The cooling tubes are at the bottom of each primary. Thay run very cool. you can lay your hand on them and thay are barely warm. I really like the looks of the boat but not real sure about the stability yet. It feels really light at 65. and wants to chine walk when you trim up. Ive heard thay are all like that? any tips on controlling that? K plains maybe???

Kplanes could not hurt. I had a friend with a similiar problem, it would chine walk and the bow had a tendency to shoot straight up in the air while going on and off plane. he threw two 60 lbs sand bags all the way up in the front of the bow, helped him greatly. congrats on the purchase.

Was a great boat!! Never had any issues besides the normal ones. Glad to see it back in the Midwest.

I bought it new from a dealer in OH back in the day. It left my driveway just like the day I bought it. Enjoy!! and remember, it's a step hull so it drives a little different than a straight V.

Ya i have fount it to be a little different. We ran the ohio river at louisville yesterday for 8 hours so im really getting used to it now. Just curious. What was the new off the show room price on it when you bought it???
