Props for a 2001 PQ 290 Enticer

Just bought a 290 Enticer w twin 7.4 L 454's 3 weeks ago. I am running 23 P and consistanly hitting the rev limiter. Shops around here are saying I need bigger props. Any feedback / suggestions will be greatly appriciated.

Yes, I bought a new Entice in 1998 and it had the standard 454s and it came with 25p Mirage +s

Lab your 23's up to 24's or buy 25's and lab them to 24/25 whatever the boat likes. I had 25's labbed to 24's by bblades with the same setup, best I saw was 69.5gps

Yes, I have the 25 Mirage 3 blade, on my 290 enticer and it cruises nicely with out winding up the rpm's excessively.
I am seeing an easy cruising speed(on the intercoastal here) of 35 to 40 mph at about 3000 rpm's

26 Bravo 1's........but I have Imco -2's. Don't understand all that "slip", "x dimension" stuff, but they work well for me..........

What about buying a set of 4 blade, 24 pitch props? Just a thought.
