And I also run a 5 blade prop. You guys will love the 28' class. The look and feel of a big offshore boat but still easy to pull and load and un load. And you still only have one beast to feed, winterize and service..... Welcome to the big singles club!!!!

The velocity does have a shorter (length) cockpit then my Baja, but I like it because it makes the nose of the boat longer and I like the look. Besides, from where I sit in the driver seat I have plenty of room. The others on the boat should be happy they aren't watching from shore...lol
I agree about one motor to feed (gas and parts). Just finishing a new blown 509 and can't imagine having to build two!! |

what kind of HP you expecting out of the 509?

Not sure. In the 650-700 area. Hoping for low 90's. according to Steve stepp (onwer of veloctiy) said a true 650 hp will be upper 80's
