380 Avenger

OK guys who owns the last 380 Avenger that was builted and what year? I know there were two unfinish at PQ that were auction off, but they don't count.

verbi69 06-02-2012 10:03 AM

Not mine...
I know there was a 2006 built with 496's that just changed hands last week.
The new owner is a member on here.
His might be one of the last.

lowbidr 06-02-2012 11:12 AM

AJ POWERPLAY 06-02-2012 01:09 PM

I have no idea on the history of the build on mine other than I believe it was ordered by Riverview Marine (I think?) and used as the brochure cover boat.
I don't know who PowerQuest was owned by at the time of my build.
I'd be curious to know how many 38's were built after mine.

dra200832 06-02-2012 11:19 PM

If you don't run hard you should buy my dads 94' sea ray signature 200 with a 5.0!

17 gph @ 3200rpm=47mph this is per engine (running Hydromotive 5 blades)
46 gph @ 5200rpm per engine.

dra200832 06-03-2012 06:24 AM

Thank you

Nope but it was dialed in by the factory AND it was rumored to be a factory display boat for Miami boat show in 93'!

gph all depends on speed I've seen mine as low as 8gph per side ....mine ya only cruising @ 30 almost off plane I'd have to look for the pic I took last year as I was shocked it was that good but average cruising 38 mph is about 11 -12 a side and am running stock 502's with Gill Exhaust and wide open 30 something each. I cruised 6 hours and burnt $20 more then my brother in his 28 Sea-Ray Sport with twin 350efi

dra200832 06-04-2012 12:31 AM

What year is that

PROWRENCH 06-04-2012 08:36 AM

I actually thought that 380 was somewhat fairly priced, but I don't think it had a trailer? Sweet looking boat anyway.

1KRAFTY1 06-04-2012 08:59 AM

found the pics...7.8gph @ 3000 is 33 mph
8.7gph @ 3200 is 37 mph
that was loaded on our way to Cedar Point and its the first year 1995

Pwraddr 06-04-2012 06:24 PM

What is the proper way to determine gph?

I have to say pictures did not do this thing justice...and the pictures looked good. This thing is soooooo nice. I am so glad I waited and looked for over a year to find the right boat. Also I am so glad I got the 38. The room is just right.

This would be pretty easy...What are your hull numbers?
lowbidr?
verbi69?

Mine is PPN380311697...It breaks down like this:
PPN--38--031--16--97
PPN = Powerquest's manufacturers code
38 = Model
031 = The 31st Avenger made
16 = Usually the month/year (if a letter and then number) or the month number (if 2 numbers) the boat was built. However mine is 16 and the last time i checked there wasn't a 16th month. Maybe someone can clarify that knows more???
97 = The model year of the boat 1997

The last 380 was at the PQ auction and sold for $60,690.00 + taxes & fees on 1/20/2012. The hull number was PPN38165G709.

So it was the 165th 380 made. It was gelled in July of 2007. And was being offered as a 2009 model year.

Josh

Interesting.

I'll have to look.

Wildman1 06-14-2012 08:45 PM

I checked my hull # and I am the 61st 380 made.

lowbidr 06-18-2012 04:53 PM

Well from the info I have heard mine was the last one offically sold as a new boat. 162cd one. I have been told that there were three unfinished ones after so it makes sense. So should I call mine THE LAST REQUEST? or is that gay.

PROWRENCH 06-18-2012 05:36 PM

Sounds ok, lots of ways to go about that
End of an Era
End of the line
Last man standing
Last Quest
Farewell Quest

verbi69 06-18-2012 07:44 PM

Checked the serial number tonight and my '05 is the 155th built.

Low bird...Last Request is kinda fitting......

Need4SpeedGTCS 06-19-2012 08:33 AM

Last Request sounds good:drink::drink:

I'm #104.

PROWRENCH 06-19-2012 11:54 AM

I have the 40th 300 made, I wonder how close it is to the last one?

verbi69 10-06-2013 10:24 AM

So did the unfinished 380 get pulled out and leave town?
What is the story on the 2 unfinished 380 boats???
