290 bidlge pumps?

Any tips on getting at them? It turns on at the switch but not automatically so I need to do some trouble shooting. Is there 2iin the engine compartment or 1 in there and 1 somewhere else?

Thanks!

Had the same issue with my vyper. Both floats were bad, worked from the dash but not by the floats.

Had them replaced when the engines were out.

I'm hoping that's not the only option....:lolhit:

My 92 290 has one in the engine bay between the engines just forward of the drain plug (Easily accessible) and the forward I have never messed with. My boat stays dry as a bone, so not an issue. Good luck with the trouble shooting!

I had to remove the backseat to change mine on the 97, it sucked.

i had to rewire mine on my 90, pulled pump out, rewired it and dropped it back down and screwed it in. used a long screwdriver, board to lay accross the engines and alot of patients!!

the forward pump in under the step going into the cabin, should be an access panel under the step inside the cabin to access it. mine stays dry as a bone...90
