380 Dash panel

I would like to mount my GPS in the dash panel with the cluster of gauges, does anyone know where I can get a blank panel or what material I can use?

eBay...I am unsure if there are more, but I bought one awhile back. I also have a spare with holes.

Looks like only ones with holes....if you wanted to avoid the down time I would be willing to send you one with holes to take somewhere and get duplicated.

You give me your word you will return it and pay shipping both ways.

Since they are screwed on the dash you could easily trace and cut out a new panel and mark up your own pattern with gps mounted front and center

He other question will be how to / what to mount it to? Currently have garmin 176c and don't see a lot mounting options, especially to a plastic panel.

my buddy has his mounted to the right of the instrument panel ,,right above the trim tab/outdrive indicator panel..

I have a garmin 620 on a Ram suction cup mount on the inside of my wind screen in that location.

Been thinking of getting rid of the speedo and mou ting a unit in the dash panel.

You may be right, but there will also likely be a GPS unit in it for you...prolly a garmin 176c since I now have 2 of them

Anyone need a GPS, I will trade one for a custom dash install.

Are you looking for a flush mount setup? If so you will need a different gps, if youre just mounting the bracket for your 176c then the options are limitless there is tons of room on the 380 dash

Drock78 05-22-2013 07:52 AM

There's a guy in grand Haven last weekend that had a flush mounted GPS in the middle of his dash. Looked trick
