Took it out over the weekend and sea pump went out. My guess is sand in water pickup! As soon as I left the beach it shot to 200 degrees and burnt one of the exhaust bellows off. Hopefully the engine is

ok. Havent tried to start since the mishap. I guess my question is how hot is to hot. It has a 454mpi with a Bravo 1. I will rebuild the sea pump and replace the bellow. Do I need to flush the system and

replace the stat? Any other pointers would be appreciated. Thanks Shane (newbie)
