Some guy out of Canada used tor run one in the LOTO Shootout with big power. Can't remember if he ran in the 80's or 90's. I just remember for the amount of HP he was running the speeds weren't all that fast.

Yes 80 is bull**** with stock 502. Maybe 72 if he was lucky. But on another note I have a 27 laser with 350 mags that I had doing 65 gps with two people and 1/4 witch I was super excited about.

66-67 tops with my old 2001 with 7.4's, they like to chine walk after 60 mph, mine was heavy, weekend package with AC too

My 91 that I sold this past summer had 502s with 23 mirages (running 92 Octane, non reformulated, non ethanol) and the best I could get on a nice calm day with slight ripple was 71.8-72.4 on GPS. Miss that boat tremendously! I had 280 Ks and it could still be a hand full on the top. 80+ :angry-smiley-038:
