Revenge Value?

Well it looks like we're gonna list the 03 Revenge. Its been a fun boat but not gonna have a lot of time to get it out this year. Just hoping for input on putting a price tag on it. I know that the markets gonna be limited with the 525sc carb engines in it. Don't have the weekend package and I think the hour meters on the engines are at about 250. It's a real nice boat and has been taken care of very well. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks

I would say a 2003 revenge with 496 ho merc stuck power would bring 55 to 60k.

Dont hate me but I think yours with the aftermarket power would bring 45 to 48k.

I agree, I have 04 with 496ho's 250 hours going on the block this summer, I am guessing about 55-60 for mine and it is in great shape also.

Revinchevy 02-07-2014 05:34 PM

No hate. Just been comparing boats and trying to find a good number. Thanks for the input guys.

What ya going to get next?

jbraun2828 02-07-2014 06:43 PM

It's still mercury power, I would rather have the bigger motors in that boat if they were fresh. The hours may hurt you a bit. I would say 55k and take 50 at the low

Not sure but I do know it will have a stand up head, galley and a comfortable bed, and at this point I am assuming non trailerable, if that is even a word.

Nice! I like ATs. They had planned to build a 43' a couple years ago but dropped that due to the economy I guess.

verbi69 02-08-2014 08:08 AM

Sounds like a 38 would fit the bill much better than a cruiser!!

I tried swapping motors with you for a while... Too bad I have new ones now or I'd still trade ya

Well I'll be interested to see how all these PQ sales go. Hopefully the numbers are high! I was thinking seriously of listing mine also, but I'm not confident I can find the right deal on the Donzi ZR that I've convinced myself that I must have. Just not many out there, and $200k is outta my league unfortunately. Oh well the 300 is a hell of a boat for its price range. Nothing even close, hull-wise, IMHO

verbi69 02-09-2014 12:33 PM

I agree, it is always a difficult move to sell a nice ride then shop for the next. Not everybody can afford to be a two boat owner, and sometimes the deals get taken up while trying to sell the current ride.
I'm in the same boat but want to step down, not up, to fit our different style of boating now.
I don't want to sell low and and pay too much for the next one.
Still looking for a clean 320sc.

LOL, I'm interested too! Love the ZR, as you know my buddy has one and it rides nice at 95!

I'm just going to be a 2 boat owner....once I find the AT I want I'm going to buy it and list my Vyper.

Side note, who owns the Vyper in the classifieds? Is that price realistic you think??

It would have been a shame to pull those blues out.

PROWRENCH 02-10-2014 09:05 AM

Keith I would certainly think that price would be in the range. I didn't see the hours in the ad for that 02. Yours has more amenities anyway.

Thanks...I have around 310 I think on mine. Going to list mine this weekend I think.

Don't u have a weekender package on it? (no galley) And the bed sucks?? Hmmmmm, been thinkn abt one of these and seen ur post abt selling. Was leaning towards a 280 one day from my 237, but when i seen a 300 4sale a few yrs back and climbing on ProWrench's at Torch Lake. Me likey that size!:D

What kind of speed ya running w those 496's? Just curious.....

Yea it has the weekender package, sink and microwave for a galley. Bed isn't bad. Problem is no privtie sleeping quarters for me and the wife. Coupled with an 8 year old that thinks he needs to be the last one up because he might miss something. We'll let me tell you I am the only one missing something. It is a great boat we aren't entirely sold on selling it yet we like it that much. 76-79, a lot of people will tell you 80-81 which I am sure they can reach. I've never seen it, but I am not always trying either.

AJ POWERPLAY 03-13-2014 02:08 AM

The beds are good, they're bigger than my 290 and that had plenty of room

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh gotcha!!!
I've had mine for 14yrs now and like it alot but, myself and gf could use some more room for overnite bags and goodies and I being 6'-4" could use more feet room for sleeping. There are some sharp looking 260's out there but not big enough. So a 280 or 290 would be nice and then the 300 has alot of head room for me surprisingly. I don't mind crouching alittle in the 280-290 models. Only time will tell if i win the lottery! LOL

That's pretty good speed for ya! Thanks for the info!!

AJ POWERPLAY 03-13-2014 07:34 AM

I think prowrench is feeling generous... Hell, he hits the lottery every day it seems like! Money coming out his @$$!!

PROWRENCH 03-13-2014 12:33 PM

What are you talking about? I'm not the one repowering spending tons of cash. Just the same old same old for me. However, anything I own is for sale...just not for cheap.

AJ POWERPLAY 03-14-2014 12:37 AM

working two weeks, vacationing three weeks out of the country... repeat. Going to have to start calling you cash money! :lolhit:
