Jacksonville Firefighters River Rally
North Florida will be the host for what is promoising to be the best poker run of the summer. With huge sponsors already onboard, this all charity event is gonna rock. The Poker Run will be held at Jacksonvilles Metropolitan Park and Marina. the marina is an all concrete, deep slip marina which can moor in excess of 100 vessels. The mooring/ trailer storage is free for the weekend and assistance for those coming from out of town will be provided. The host hotel is the brand new Adams Mark also located on the glorious St. Johns river next to Metropolitan Park. The rooms are available at an unbeleivable rate of only $99 for the weekend ( checkin 3pm on friday and checkout is Noon on Sunday). A live concert with the sounds of Artemis Pyle and a huge BBQ dinner prepared by Firefighter cookoff teams is only the surface. There will be fun for the whole family. The dates are Sept 13th, 14th 2002. We will be allowing all boats to come in on Friday the 13th to dock (anytime after 10:00am) . The meet and greet will start appoximately around 5:30 pm with a wing and beer party while all boats continue to arrive. Then we will move onto The Jacksonville Landing (South End Brewery ) for Regtistration and sign in. This run only cost $200 for captain and mate, huge bbq bananza.
